4 ways to look younger-Dr. Fred Peck

You can look younger by improving your smile in 4 ways. The first step is to have whiter teeth. Whiter teeth are a sign of youth. As we age, teeth become darker for a variety of reasons. Teeth can be made whiter through whitening and a variety of other methods. The next way to have a younger looking smile and appearance is to show some of your front teeth when the upper lip is at rest. As we age, our facial skin tends to sag a little covering the teeth. Some older patients even smile and show no teeth at all. This is a sure sign of old age. The third step is to have the front teeth a little longer than the others. With age, teeth become worn and flat. Older looking patients often have flat edges on all of their teeth. By diagnosing what caused that problem, the look of these teeth can be improved for long term aesthetics and function. The last way to look younger is to have a natural color at the bottom edge. Front teeth naturally have some translucent effects at development. With age, the teeth wear and often chip. Having lost the shine of the front teeth and ending up with a tooth that is only one color, the person will look older. There are also many other minor techniques that when combined together can restore youth to your smile and allow a person to feel better about their appearance.
